Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the screen. Her parents are from Ireland and Mexico. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued a physical therapy career in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before moving to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played a range of roles from local independent films to international commercials. Despite small roles, she soon discovered her love in acting. After 2001, she relocated to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's daytime soap-opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in the year 2004 on the short film The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear with a variety of famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of her role in the Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. This particular character has earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. She received an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performance in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She was Marisol Deko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. The most recent television appearance was in the role of Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat dark show Do No Harm. The show was later cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is of Italian origin and also has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. She was brought up in an orthodox, religious family. Milano's career began at age seven, after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 hopefuls. She was selected as one of only four girls. Milano was featured in commercials both on Broadway and television and in the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
